Pjotr Sapegin’s Madama Butterfly

I thought the video was extremely creative. It really helped me to see the opera as more of a tale than a song. Since I don't have much knowledge of operas or of the time period, I could imagine myself getting lost in the voice and missing the feeling that it's meant to induce. I think the fact that the video was done with claymation with very basic facial gestures helped initialize somewhat of a structured imaginative journey, which helped the scenes feel more real than expected.
